Tour Package Policies

Package/Cancellation Policy

To confirm your trip, a 50% deposit of the total package price is due 14 days from the time of booking. To guarantee your reservations, the balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival (in the form of cash, personal or traveler's check, or credit card). For your convenience, we accept telephone deposits using your American Express, Carte Blance/Diners Club, Discover Card, JCB, Mastercard, or Visa.

Package/General Terms and Conditions

• Grand Aleutian Hotel and Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter any itinerary as conditions may require.
• All package prices are subject to change without notice.
• If, due to weather conditions or other uncontrollable reasons, you need to extend your stay, you will be responsible for additional hotel and meal costs.
• All participants joining our tours agree to hold The Grand Aleutian Hotel and Tours and its agents blameless in the event of an accident.
• Grand Aleutian Hotel and Tours accepts no liability for loss or damage to property.

Package/Cancellation Policy

Charter:

• Occasionally, your birding or fishing charter may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions; our policy is a 100% refund if the boat skipper calls off the charter. Please remember that charter skippers always have your safety in mind. Although the wave action may appear calm in the protected waters of the bays, you can bet that it is much worse "outside" in the open waters of the passes!

Package:

• Package reservations cancelled over 60 days prior to arrival will be assessed a $50.00 administration fee.
• Cancellations between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival will be subject to a 50% charge.
• No refunds will be made if booking is cancelled fewer than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.
• No partial refunds will be issued for late arrivals or early departures.
• As with all Alaska travel destinations, weather can occasionally effect scheduled flights, other modes of transportation and tours. Grand Aleutian Tours and its agents will not be held responsible for loss of fishing time, sight-seeing tours, flight delays or other changes due to adverse weather conditions.
